DOUBLE CHERRY RULES
How To Win:

To win, you must eliminate all cups before your opponent does or have more cups remaining than your opponent when the timer runs out.

To eliminate cups, simply toss the ball into any cups on your opponent’s side.

Each team gets two tosses per round.

The time limit is set to 10 minutes.

Sudden Death is triggered when both teams have the same number of cups remaining when the time runs out. In this situation, to decide who goes first, utilize “Rock, Paper, Scissors” to do so, or a more traditional method is to “lock eye contact” and simultaneously have each team toss a ball, the team that sinks a ball goes first. Each side will then get one throw and one throw only. First team to sinks the shot wins.
First round condition:

To achieve the double cherry feat, a team must throw both balls into the front cup, resulting in an instant victory.

Other scenarios where if 1 of the 2 balls land in the front cup, it eliminates 3 cups, and if the other ball lands in any other cup, a total of 5 cups are removed (the front cup plus the other cup, and three more from smallest to greatest, for example, if cup 1 + 7 were sunk on the first round, cups 2, 3 and 4 will also be eliminated.)
General Rules:

Re-racks (rearranging of the cups) happen when there are 6, 4, 3, 2, and 1 cup(s) remaining. At 6 remaining, players must re-rack the cups numbering from 1 to 6 forming a triangular. At 4 remaining, players must re-rack the cups numbering from 1, 2, 3 and 5 forming a diamond shape. At 3 remaining, players must re-rack the cups numbering from 1, 2, and 3 forming a small triangular shape. At 2 remaining, players must re-rack the cups from 1, followed by the 2nd cup right behind it. And lastly, with 1 cup remaining, players must re-rack the cup at the 1 position. Failing to re-rack the cups at ANY point will result in a 1-cup penalty.

The Number of Players is optional to the team as long as both teams are in agreement there is no actual maximum number of players. However, when there are 2 players or more, it should be coherent that each side regulates the turns consistently, for example, if it is decided that 1 of 2 players throw both shots vs. alternating shots.

Drinking occurs when any cups are eliminated. Your cup of alcohol must be empty before throwing; failing to do so will result in a penalty of your own cup followed by another cup of alcohol. The losing team will drink all remaining alcohol otherwise reinstated by the Beer Pong Official.

There are various ways a ball can be thrown, however, a team should show sportsmanship and should not intentionally “whip” the ball as hard as they can in an attempt to knock cups over. When a cup is knocked over, it still counts as being eliminated. Bouncing the ball into a cup is allowed and will count as eliminating 1 cup, however the moment the ball hits any surface such as the table or cup, it may be “removed” by grabbing or hitting the ball away.

Methods of defense are permitted such as distracting the opposing team. However, one must not in any way obstruct the vision of the opponent who is in the act of throwing. No physical defense is allowed otherwise agreed upon such as “blowing” or “picking” the ball out. You may not use any form of physical interference such as a fan to misdirect the opponent’s throw at any time. If at any time during a method of defense, and you touch the ball before impact, it will result in a 1 cup penalty, and the ball is refreshed, where the opponent will gain a free throw back.

Methods of offense such as leaning are allowed with no penalty. Players are allowed to lean as much as they want so that the table stays in place. If the throw goes off of any body part after initial impact and ends up in a cup, the cup is still considered eliminated.

Exceptions such as any ambiguities with the following rules should be redirected to any Beer Pong Official for clarity. Any decisions made by the Beer Kong Official are final.

There are no Rebuttles or Redemptions allowed.

General Rules

Reformation (A.K.A Re-rack): Reform at 6, 3, and 1 cups remaining. Cups are to be reformed into tight triangles pointing forward. Last cup must be pulled back to within 1” from table edge. Mid-turn reformation will apply.

Rollbacks: Only 1 ball is returned when a team sinks both their shots in one turn, except during redemption (See: End-game rules)

First toss in the tournament will be decided randomly during scheduling.

Balls are divided to start. One ball is thrown to start the game, and two shots per side are thrown thereafter.
-
Grabbing: Ball may be grabbed ONLY after it has hit a cup.
-
Bounce shots are allowed but do not count for 2 cups.
-
Cups knocked over by balls are reset & shot is replayed unless ball had clearly entered the cup before falling, in which case the shot is counted as a hit cup.

Leaning is allowed; however, no object may be used to support a player’s weight during a lean (this includes the table and the shooter’s partner). Players may not move cups out of the way before shooting to aid in their lean. Any cup knocked over while leaning is counted as a hit cup.

Distractions are allowed, however the players may not cross the plane of play with ANY part of their bodies while the other team is shooting.

No player may intentionally disturb the air surrounding the cups in play, such as by fanning with hands, hat, or any other objects.

No player may take offense to anything said or done during a game, even if it involves their mother. Threats will result in ejection with no refund. Comments that are either racist in nature or unreasonably sexist will result in immediate expulsion from play

Overtime games that run long may be moved to a side table.

The beer remaining on a side at the end of a game is the property of that team. No player is under any obligation to drink the remaining beer. Players do not have to play with beer, and can choose to play with water at their discretion.

Players who are visibly intoxicated must have their cups filled with water.
-
Being late or absent to a match will result in match forfeiture. ‘Taking a nap’ does not constitute a valid excuse, and will result in getting slapped.

Fights result in permanent WSOBP blacklist.

All rules and penalties are to be enforced by officials. Disputes must be brought to officials. All calls made by officials are final.
End-game rules:

There is always an opportunity for redemption (i.e. no lockouts). There are two scenarios possible:

More than one cup per side remaining when the last cup is sunk. In this case, “Unlimited 1-Ball Redemption” is given. Either player may take the first shot, and the ball is rolled back until a player misses. At this time, players must alternate throwers in the event of multiple hits; one player may not take all the redemption shots

One cup vs. One cup remaining when the last cup is sunk. In this case, the rule is, “Take as many shots as you have balls remaining on your side”

基本規則
雙人賽每隊各2名隊員每人投球1次,單人時投球2次
每邊放10個杯:杯子互相緊貼放在Rack上,擺放成一個指向前方的三角形。 所有遊戲杯子只用清水裝1/3。加1個洗浄用杯裝滿水
投球方法自由,直球,拱高球,彈枱球,全可以。 投球時觸碰或超越枱為犯規。選手可以把身傾斜在枱上 但不能靠任何身外工具(包括枱或隊友等)作支撐或其他用途
正當防衛:被投出的球,須先和桌上的杯或Rack接觸後,才能用手截停。
當一隊進行投球時,非觸碰性質的騷擾是允許, 但選手身體的任何一部分都不能跨越比賽枱的空間。選手不能煽動手,帽子, 其它物件或用其它方法來改變比賽範圍周圍的氣流而影響比賽。
犯規時會被罰1個杯。選手不能對人作出任何威脅性的言行,該隊會被馬上停賽。 如作出一些帶種族歧視性或帶有過於性別歧視的言行,該選手將會立即被退場。 暴力行為會被列入永久性的黑名單。比賽時間,遲到或缺席被視爲不戰而敗。
比賽進行過程

首輪開球(First toss):靠擲硬幣的形式或透過雙方定下的協議來決定首輪開球。

首輪開球隊伍,先投1球。然後每隊各2名隊員每人投球1次(合計2球)。之後遊戲便以每回合投2球的形式繼續。

當一隊在同一回合把兩球都成功投進對方得杯子裏,則可得到多一次投球機會(RollBack)雙人賽時、任何一位都可以投第三球、無需順序投球。

被投中的杯子要放在桌兩旁,不可放在阻擋投球位置。如投球接觸桌上的杯或Rack或球員,而進入杯子作為有效。

杯子剩下 6, 3或 1隻的時候,須要重組杯形成一個指向前方的三角形。最後方的一排杯子須離桌邊1 inch內。在杯子重組完成後,遊戲繼續。

最後的杯被投進時,有以下兩種情況:
一 A隊掃空杯子時,B隊所剩的杯子有兩隻或以上。
在這種情況,被掃空杯子的B隊可以有扳平機會,B隊一球不失地把對方的杯掃空即和局進行加時,一球誤投即落敗,比賽便結束(雙人賽時輪流投球)
二 A隊掃空杯子時,B隊所剩的杯子只剩一隻。

不失任何一球把餘下全杯投進便成平手(Redemption ), 需要進行3杯對3杯延長賽到分出勝負為止。
在比賽過程中,所有的規則和處罰皆由裁判執行。所有糾紛由裁判調停。所有最終裁決都是由裁判作最終決定。其它事項,選手須以保持遊戲的公正和趣味性為大原則作出解決方案,例如重新開始遊戲或遊戲的某部份、議定為平局、開懷地繼續比賽又或者其他合理的解決方案。
香港特別賽例

比賽時間10分鐘,時間到空杯多為勝。但空杯少方有最後投球權,最後比賽結束。最後投球時可有ROLLBACK,可以返敗為勝。◾

比賽時間內雙方全杯被投入打和,依照End-Game規則進行3杯對3杯延長賽

10分鐘時間到打和,10杯對10杯延長賽,每隊有1次投球(12碼突然死亡方式,並非先入為勝)
